Meri Pyaari Bindu (English: My Lovely Bindu) is an Indian Hindi romantic comedy film, written by Suprotim Sengupta and directed by Akshay Roy. It features Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.
The principal photography of the film began in Kolkata in May 2016 and was wrapped in October 2016. The film was released on 12 May 2017, to positive reviews. The writer has inspired by a so called love story of Pakistani doctor A from Karachi during his visit to US, who has similar love story of more than 18 years with a doctor S, a complex relationship of friendship and love. They never feel an attraction for marriage but for company only like a soulmate for each other. Probably both are happy in current life..but missing something unnamed. The writer promise not to expose doctor A name.
